Who flies with you
Every claim here has a source and a status, and where a pilot has a public record we link it so you check him instead of believing us.
For a first flight, the pilot matters less than the decision not to fly on a bad day. For a two-thousand-euro cross-country week, the guide is the product — his hours, where he has flown, and whether he will turn a group around.
Almost every operator in this region answers that question with the phrase "our experienced guides". That sentence is free to write and impossible to check, which is why we do not use it. Instead each person below carries his own name, his own public profile and the source of every claim attached to him.
Every claim on this page carries its source and its status. verified — we checked it against a primary public record. claimed — a public source states it and we have not independently checked it. stated — the person or the operator told us, with nothing public to check against. Where a pilot has a public flight record, we link it and you check him yourself rather than taking our word.

A British pilot who has been flying for three decades. In a region where almost nobody on the ground speaks fluent English, that is not a nice detail — it is the reason a pilot in Bristol or Denver can have a real conversation about the week before paying for it. He takes the pre-trip call, and he flies with the English-speaking groups.

He has run a paragliding shop, club and school for over twenty years and takes his own students abroad every season.

The local answer to the one hard problem in Kazakhstan — and not only a Kazakhstan pilot: his flight from Chon-Tash on 17 July 2026 is in the top five registered in Kyrgyzstan this season. Retrieval near Almaty is easy; airspace is not, and a pilot who flies these corridors every week is worth more here than a driver who is fast.
